The Super School Teacher's Portfolio

All the teachers at Super School University will receive free teachers portfolios.  We want the entire team to start thinking different about how we can use electronic portfolios to improve instruction.  Both students and teachers will be able to showcase their work and inform their instruction.  This will help our entire organization to do a better job communicating with parents and Super School University partners and staff.  We are doing lots of creative things in technology, math, reading, writing, visual and performing arts, science, and journalism.  Now we have the tools to let the world know.  If you need more information about electronic portfolios, contact use by e-mail:  Suprschool@aol.com

Super School Teen TV
Who is the world’s youngest and oldest drummer?

At Super School University we do a lot with helping to keep music alive in the schools.  We have a performing arts group called the Super Subs and will bring the visual and performing arts to the schools.   Our after school drum classes are popular and it is great to see that children at a very young age can catch on to music and do great things.  Do what you can to support the arts in the schools.  If you know of any students that have special talents, please send us some contact information.  We would like to share their talents on Kid’s Talk Radio and Super School Teen TV.

Music and Math: Keep Jazz Alive in Our Classrooms

Bob Barboza is composing a special Jazz Opera to call attention to the Cabo Verde Islands.  This Jazz Opera is written in odd time signatures.  The opening theme song is written in 17/4.  Some of the other compositions are in 5/4, 21/8, and 16/4.   Often time’s students are included with the professional musicians in these visual jazz concerts
